• Support the Engineer II – Knitting and Yarn technology in covering and knitting liners as instructed.
• Transfer prototype samples specifications given & knit bulk quantities as per instructions for trials.
• Adjust knitting machines in prototype validations for large scale manufacturing.
• Experiment & experience new materials & develop new liners with request from R&D team.
• Experience in parameters affect in knitting and use them correctly in new liners.
• Keep filing samples & knitting specifications properly.
• Record sample data & knitting issues encountered during large scale manufacturing.
• Follow up liner deliveries for dyeing, washing & then returning goods.
• Maintain proper storage for R&D raw material & keep record.
• Work with relevant team members in a corporative manner & support in continuous liner improvement to reach the final product.
• Maintain required quality for knitted liners during trial, validation and large scale manufacturing
• Be part of training sessions whenever needed.
• Take necessary actions to preserve the confidentiality of company’s proprietary, sample and test result information.
• Enforce laboratory and plant trial safety, health and environment standards.
• Be able to carry out any other work assigned by Chemist II – R&D Dipping and Testing in an efficient and effective way.

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Textile or Physical Science or related field
Job Experience:
No prior experience in glove industry is required but any experience working in a laboratory setting would be of benefit
Knowledge and Skills
Good communication skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and word would be of benefit.
